  • Overview

    Operates equipment on a daily basis machine to maintaining the production of frac sand at an acceptable level by performing the following duties.

      

     

    Responsibilities

    Performs frontend loader operations; loads wet sand into the cold feed for drying of the sand then loads the dry sand product into trucks for delivery to the railroad.
     
    Monitors and controls burners to ensure sand is dried at the ideal temperature.
     
     Controls and monitors equipment used to collect waste produced in sand drying process for disposal.
     
    Ensures trucks are loaded with sand to proper weight, and prints and signs the Bill of Ladings for each load going out .
     
    Checks of all sand plant equipment for safety and maintenance issues on a daily basis.
    Performs Sieve analysis of final sand product to ensure sand is to industry standard specifications for frac sand.

    Education and/or Experience                                                    
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum one year related experience and/or training.
      
    Language Skills    
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
     
    Mathematical Skills                                                       
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
     
    Reasoning Ability                                                           
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
     
    Other Skills and Abilities                                                            
    General knowledge of oil and gas industry.
    Mechanical aptitude.
    Must be team oriented especially under difficult conditions.
