    Note: This is a part-time (less than 30 hours/week for 90 days) and temporary paid position that aims to allow current and recent graduates to obtain invaluable insight on the operation and demands of our Frac Maintenance Department.

     

    Performs preventative maintenance and routine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on company assets to include all yellow iron and other oil field equipment. Works in both a shop and field environment.

    Responsibilities

    Equipment Maintenance: Performs preventative maintenance on equipment according to established guidelines and time frames. Acts as an assistant to more senior Mechanics on larger jobs.

    Tool Maintenance: Performs daily inspections of tools and equipment used. Ensures cleanliness of hand tools, equipment and parts.

    Education and/or Experience
    Must have already obtained certification from trade school within the last year, or are on track to graduate; no related experience or training required.

     

    Language Skills
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

     

    Mathematical Skills
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

     

    Computer Skills
    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computer use and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of RTA Fleet Management Software is a plus.

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
    Valid Driver License.

    Other Skills and Abilities
    Strong communication and time management skills.
    Ability to work under pressure.

     

    Other Qualifications
    Bilingual in English and Spanish.
