Provides guidance and supervision of preventative maintenance inspections, repairs and rebuilds of machinery components and/or mechanical equipment related to yellow iron and other oil field equipment, and ensures the crew meets all requirements and criteria to perform assigned work activities.
Work Orders: Ensures appropriate manpower and supplies are available to complete assignments. Reviews in progress and completed jobs to verify scope of work completed according to company standards. Navigates within maintenance program and produces work orders.
Mechanic Support: Oversees the daily operations of department. Manages the work load and assignments of Mechanics. Directs Mechanic activity.

Education and/or Experience
Less than high school education; minimum one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computer use and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of RTA Fleet Management Software is a plus. Experience with CAD software is a plus.

Valid Driver License.
DOT License is a plus.
