Transload Operator I, La Salle Railway
Transfers dry bulk products; frac sand, proppants, and other products; to/from rail-cars and trucks in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining facility and equipment used.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum one year related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid state issued driver's license.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a good attitude.
Prior experience working on or around rail operation.
Ability and willingness to work an irregular schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to support a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation.
