Provides technical support to field operations reviews and executes partner recommendations, mentors junior staff and implements secondary recovery field wide.

Assures filed development is fit-for-purpose, sustainable and has minimized long-term downsides.
Optimizes production and identifies opportunities for increased production and further savings.
Generates AFE's, procedures and cost estimates for field work.
Provides oversight for chemical program costs and field integrity concerns.
Stays informed of technical advances in the oil and gas industry.
Mentors and provides on-the-job training for junior engineering and field staff members.
Understands and follows safety practices and procedures.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and ten years related experience and/or training
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and should be able to quickly learn most Windows front-end type software's for engineering calculations.
