    Summary: Under general supervision, responsible for many aspects of the company’s information technology infrastructure and supporting the company’s internal resources that rely upon that infrastructure.  The position is a generalist focusing on end-user support and less complex IT infrastructure duties. 

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    End User Support:  Provides end-user support using the ticketing system to track and document requests.  Sets up and installs PCs and desk telephones for new hires. Deploys images to PCs.

    Active Directory Management:  Creates Active Directory and email accounts for team members. Adds and deletes users to and from Active Directory security groups.

     Installation and Troubleshooting:  Performs software and computer hardware installation including Coax/Cat 5/6 cabling. Troubleshoots video conference system. Troubleshoots computer hardware and performs basic repairs. Installs and sets up Direct TV.

    Education and/or Experience                                                  

    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred;  minimum of 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Language Skills                                                              

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

     

    Mathematical Skills                                                     

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability                                                          

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    Computer Skills                                                             

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Active Directory.
