|Supports well site Coiled Tubing operations by operating, driving and maintaining Coiled Tubing equipment while maintaining safety standards.|
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (may include other duties as assigned)
Drives and operates Coiled Tubing support equipment to assist in completion of, or intervention procedures on, oil and gas wells. Responsibilities include rigging up heavy equipment, pressure control equipment, high pressure iron, and maintaining fuel and fluid levels in heavy equipment.
Operates equipment on location that can include fluid pump, nitrogen pump, man lift, and fork lift.
Confers with Supervisor and crew on any operational deficiencies, or if any concerns are raised as to proper operational procedures.
Participates in JSA and general meetings.
Conducts maintenance and general upkeep of the Coiled Tubing units and all support equipment.
Monitors, inspects, and adjusts all major equipment during operations to ensure the adequate operation of all equipment. Observes load variations on fluid pumps, and motor pressure indicators. Listens to engines and other equipment in order to detect faulty operations, or unusual well conditions. Reviews information from material, events, or the environment to detect or assess problems.
If CDL endorsement is obtained as a requirement of position or voluntarily while in the employment of LEG, employee will ensure that all applicable state/federal guidelines, rules and regulations that apply under (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Part 383) will be carried out in accordance with the law.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Some college preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
HazMat Endorsement preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Fully qualified for all CT Services and Safety requirements
Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste or smell; and talk or hear. Regularly required to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to lift/move up to 100 pounds. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
May be exposed to hot, cold, wet, and or humid weather conditions.
May be exposed to a loud working environment.
