Performs tasks needed to maintain the accuracy of all financial data for an organization comprised of multiple business entities for purposes of adhering to accepted accounting procedures, as well as external governmental and regulatory requirements.

Education and/or Experience
10+ years employed by a CPA firm as a bookkeeper, with a diverse client base, including those associated with: Construction and real estate; Partnership and S Corp ownership; and Investment holdings.
5+ years working within a paperless office environment;
Investment & K-1 accounting experience
Payroll and Income tax preparation experience a plus;
Accounts payable experience strongly preferred;
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting, finance or related field from four-year college or university;
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondences, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Very High Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with: Excel; Adobe Pro; 1096/1099 preparation software; SAGE100/Mas90 or an equivalent accounting system, experience with SAP payables module is a plus; Fixed asset software, such as BNA, MAS90, Prosytems, Fixed Asset CS, or equivalent software; Paperless document management systems, such as Prosystems Engagement, Ultratax File room, or equivalent, is a Plus; and Researching and trouble-shooting issues that arise within software applications.
