  • Overview

    Provides administrative and technical support for the Reservoir and Production Engineering staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages, maintains, and continuously improves the Completion Engineering database.
    • Creates and maintains Spotfire projects to assist the Completions Engineers with technical and financial analysis. 
    • Updates, maintains quality, and establishes new wells in Reservoir Engineering Decline Analysis workbooks.
    • Provides Microsoft software support as necessary for engineering activities.
    • Provides Reservoir Engineering software support as necessary (Fekete, WellFlo, PHDWin, OFM, etc.).
    • Provides Production Engineering support as necessary, including Frac Hit analysis process.
    • Conducts engineering projects, evaluations, and analysis as directed by engineering staff, including new well and project “Look-Backs.”
    • Works with other disciplines such as Completions, Drilling, Geology & Geophysics, Field Operations, etc.
    • Presents results of projects, evaluations, and analysis at engineering staff meetings
    • Travels as necessary to field locations in support of engineering activities

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in any field.

    Other Requirements:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Wellview, Spotfire, and general computer usage.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • High degree of initiative, responsibility, attention to detail and accuracy, timeliness
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to manage projects, follow through on assignments and manage deadlines.
    • Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple priorities and time sensitive issues in an effective manner.

    Physical Demands:

    • Regularly required to sit, talk and/ or hear.
    • Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
    • Close vision and ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment:

    • Regularly works in office environment.
    • Noise level is usually moderate.
