Organizes and oversees planning, preparation and implementation of drilling and completion programs. Directs daily drilling operations. Reviews daily reports and directs corrective action as necessary.
Responsible for controlling costs in compliance with drilling AFE’s and ensuring safe operating environment and practices.
Directs Toolpushers in technical processes, including well logging and formation testing. Advises Toolpushers on operating problems, such as non-vertical boreholes, broken drilling tools and difficult completions.
Responsiblefor efficient use and maintenance of equipment.
Shares with Toolpusher responsibility for oversight
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year experience operating drilling equipment
