Overview

Manages and maintains an inventory of fracturing iron and associate equipment by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assists production and maintenance workers in repairing equipment, loading and unloading fracturing iron trailers, swapping our fracturing pump discharge iron, and retaining a supply of materials and tools.
  • Monitors equipment performance to detect malfunctions and notifies supervisors if necessary.
  • Tracks incoming and outgoing fracturing iron inventory.
  • Performs hydrostatic testing and logs required information of items tested.
  • Performs various cleaning and machining processes on fracturing iron and related equipment.
  • Delivers parts to field locations when needed.
  • Loads and unloads fracturing items from cranes and fracturing pumps.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                                                
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
 
Mathematical Skills                                                       
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
 
Reasoning Ability                                                           
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver's license.
 
Other Skills and Abilities                                                            
Ability to operate a fork lift.
