Overview

Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned fracturing fleet. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Produces and maintains fracturing service package paperwork for assigned jobs.
  • Monitors the process of the fracturing job per specified guidelines, alerting necessary parties of adjustments required.
  • Conducts pre and post job meetings to maintain an informed staff.
  • Reports daily fracturing job happenings to Operations Coordinator throughout the day.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

                                               

Directly supervises 13 to 16 employees in the Fracturing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:                                        

  • Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                            

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills                                                  

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability                                                     

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills                                            

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Excel.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Supervisor certification is preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities                                                     

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Other Qualifications:                                               

  • Knowledge of entire fracturing process from beginning to end.
