Installs, repairs, maintains, modifies, and troubleshoots security equipment used by company staff and visitors at various locations and developmental and production of technical components, parts, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Explorer, FireFox, Internet software and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Licensed Texas Alarm/Access control installer is preferred.
A/V certification is preferred.
