Supports existing SCADA systems and performs project work to enhance and build new SCADA systems. Maintains a secure, standardized and reliable SCADA system environment operating under Lewis Energy Group procedures and standards of operations.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from four -year college or university; minimum of (5) years of progressive experience to include PLC programming with Function Block and Ladder Logic; SCADA commissioning, design, or operations; and experience working with the Windows operating system and system administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of file structures, data structures, graphics editors and scientific programming languages. Strong troubleshooting skills required. The individual must adhere to good programming practices and strict testing standards.
