SAFETY TECHNICIAN II

As a Safety Technician II, you’ll be the front line of protection—inspecting equipment, ensuring quality work conditions, and creating safer workplaces that drive performance and protect our people. You'll play a vital role in reducing incidents, boosting productivity, and keeping our operations compliant with all applicable safety regulations.

What You’ll Do:

✔️ Support and enhance safe practices in completions (Frac)

✔️ Respond to incidents and near misses, notify supervisors, document details, drive corrective action, and support required testing.

✔️ Lead weekly meetings, report project safety issues, conduct safety contacts, and coach field teams on risk reduction.

✔️ Deliver hands-on safety training for individuals and groups.

✔️Send daily written safety updates on incidents, inspections, corrective actions, and department concerns.

✔️Perform daily inspections, document hazards, verify safe practices and compliance, and follow up on corrective actions.

✔️Maintain detailed records demonstrating fulfillment of meeting, coaching session, incident reporting and inspection requirements for supervisor review.

About You (Qualifications & Experience)

We are looking for dedicated individuals who bring expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic to our team. Ideal candidates will have:

✅ Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

✅ Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

✅ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

✅ Basic math skills

✅ Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities

✅ Experience in supporting drilling or frac operations in the area of safety

✅ CSHO, ASP, CSP, OSHA-30, OSHA 500/501, 510/511 are preferred.
