As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for the safety and quality of operations by applying and adhering to process and safety procedures for the wireline equipment, tools, and personnel.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

✔️ Assist in the training of Trainee Operators, Operators, and Lead Operators.

✔️ Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations.

✔️ Coordinate all crew responsibly with crew members. Ensure crew members are where they need to be when they need to be there, sending equipment to/from location, ensuring all rig up/rig down tasks are staffed appropriately and are being done up to the standard and guidelines, and all equipment is being properly maintained and operated.

✔️ Conduct pre-job safety meeting (PJSM) prior to each shift that covers key points in the current operation as well as potential hazards and pertinent information.

✔️ Ensures all job-specific JSAs are being performed prior to the start of each task.

✔️ Directly supervise 3-4 employees in their immediate crew with the Wireline Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. (Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.)

 

Qualifications

About You (Qualifications & Experience)

We are looking for dedicated individuals who bring expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic to our team. Ideal candidates will have:

✅ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum seven years related experience.

✅ A valid Class A driver's license is required.

✅ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

✅ Basic knowledge of email and Excel.

 

Your Work Schedule & Hours

⏳Work shifts up to 12 hours

⏳Overtime as needed

⏳6/3 Schedule

⏳Hours may vary based on operational needs
