Lewis Energy Group is looking for a highly motivated Manager, Infrastructure / Senior System Administrator to join our IT team.  The manager oversees the administration and maintenance of hardware and server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of domain servers to ensure network security and efficient user authentication.

 

  • Manage data domain backups to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.

 

  • Administering and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access control.

 

  • Implementing and managing email security and archiving solutions.

 

  • Provide secure and efficient remote access solutions using Citrix.

 

  • Configures and program GPOs and scripts.

 

  • Managing infrastructure for virtualization and efficient resource utilization through VMWare.

 

  • Oversees the implementation and management of cloud computing and storage solutions, including Azure and Microsoft 365, to ensure secure and efficient operations.

 

  • Ensure timely and effective security patching to protect systems from vulnerabilities.

 

  • Plans and provides tactical direction, sets management goals, defines priorities, and develops long-term plans to manage and scale systems.

 

  • Develop, implement, and manage the IT environment, ensuring site scalability, integrity, performance, economy and reliability.

 

  • Establishes/recommends policies on system use and services.

Qualifications

    • Minimum of associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of seven years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Strong knowledge of VOIP, Wireless, Databases, Networking, SAN, Citrix and Linux.
    • Strong knowledge of System and Network Design. Cloud IAAS.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    • Effective leadership skills
    • Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes.
    • Ability to program in an administrative language (e.g. PHP, C#, VBScript, Windows PowerShell).

 

Supervisory Responsibilities                                                

Manages all infrastructure resources in the regions IT Department.  Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the region.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Windows, VMware, Citrix Workspaces, and Microsoft Application Suite.
