Overview

Summary

Responsible for quality assurance, quality control aspects of fracturing operations. Assists Frac Field Engineer with inventory management and have a general understanding of fracturing fluids.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Test and rig up/down backside equipment with a general understanding of operation of equipment.

Understand responsibilities of the Field Engineer and perform similar responsibilities and assist Frac Field Supervisors for any technical responsibilities.

Tests and analyzes water, fluid, and sand samples prior to the job. Responsible for chemical and sand inventory. Ability to clean, rebuild, troubleshoot or repair chemical pumps.

Carrying fittings, hoses and iron for rig up and rig down purposes. Strapping totes and ISO containers for inventory purposes. Special vision requirements are necessary due to DOT regulations for CDL holders and being aware of surroundings on location.  

 

Receive chemical deliveries on site and email BOL to receive chemical volume in inventory.

 

Bucket test and calibrate chemical pumps as needed.

Education and/or Experience                                                   

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum six months related experience.

 

Language Skills                                                

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Mathematical Skills                                                     

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability                                             

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills                                               

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
