Summary:  The role is responsible for professionally managing an internal emergency communications and response team.  The individual will also install, troubleshoot, and project manage the company wide audio-visual infrastructure. 

• Directly supervises emergency communications personnel.
• Develops and updates standard operating procedures for emergency operations personnel as well as critical response plans.
• Reviews and rehearses critical response plans with all three shifts.
• Schedules all leave with emergency communications personnel to maintain a two-person team on duty at all times and covers gaps in coverage when required.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all emergency communications systems including cameras, alarms, GPS and other systems as they are added and ensures staff is trained as needed.
• Process and prioritizes incoming emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance and informs appropriate persons.
• Performs related administrative duties, such as maintaining logbooks and other record-keeping tasks as assigned.
• Provides first line technical support for internal customers with regard to building and home automation, and audio-visual (AV) infrastructure.   
• Ability to project manage audio-visual (AV) contractors and projects for AV installation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years in supervisor capacity
• Minimum 5 years related experience
• Prior project management experience
• Audio Visual experience is a must

• Advanced knowledge of software skills related to cameras, access control, mass notification, Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to travel 10% of the time to other locations with some occasional overnight stay.
